Melenie - Salon Owner & Director
I started hairdressing at 16 and feel privileged to have chosen a career that I still love and feel passionate about.
I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing, cutting is my speciality, I love the creativity and instant transformation a great haircut can bring.
As a salon owner I love to see my team grow and develop, I have created a strong training programme within the salon and encourage my whole team to chase their dreams.
I have been a finalist at the British Hairdressing Awards 10 times and the salon has both been a finalist and winner of many prestigious industry awards over the years including British Hairdressing Business Awards, L’oreal Colour Trophy, Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team, Schwarzkopf Leap Team, The Salon Business Awards and Creative Head Most Wanted.
Debra - Salon Director
Debbie has been working at En Route for over 20 years and offers a wide spectrum of different techniques and styles, her speciality is styling short hair.
As our retail manager Debbie has an expert knowledge of all the products we use in the salon and believes great products compliment great haircuts. Debbie is actively involved with our in house training programme running training sessions to educate the team on all products.
Debbie is also En Route’s Nioxin expert, Nioxin delivers unique personalised solutions for hair thinning that works. Nioxin’s products are designed to give you a healthy scalp, because it gives your hair the best possible foundation from which to grow. Jade - Salon Director
Jade joined En Route at the age of 17 as an apprentice, she has worked her way up the salon and is now a Salon Director and Wedding Coordinator.
In 2017 Jade won a place on the Schwarzkopf YATS Team, every month Jade trained in London with top hairdressing educators for a whole year and she was also a finalist for the L’Oreal Young Colourist of the Year in 2015.
Jade loves to make her clients look and feel great, especially when she can be a part of their big day!
Kieri - Principle Stylist
Sophie - Training Manager & Princple Stylist
Amy - Master Stylist
Kieri has been hairdressing for over 20years, she loves ladies hairdressing especially getting creative with technical colour and cuts.
Kieri is a qualified assessor and helps the new talent in the salon gain their qualifications.
Training at The London School of Barbering Kieri our resident barber and a master of skin fades, wet shaves and all other aspects of barbering. In 2018 Kieri was a finalist at the Men’s L’Oreal Colour Trophy.
Kieri is also qualified in NEU Hair 4 Men Replacement Systems which is a non-surgical system, if you have any hair loss concerns call the salon to book a consultation.
Sophie is on of our resident barbers and En Route’s training manager, she is working towards gaining her assessors award so she can help the new talent in the salon gain their qualifications. She organises all our in house training and loves to help the whole team expand their hairdressing skills and knowledge.
Sophie is a Blondme expert and has also trained with the Hot Tools brand, for her there is no better feeling than putting a smile on her clients face when she has styled their hair.
Amy is our talented Master Stylist and has been hairdressing for over 20 years, she specialises in hair up and bridal styling, creating beautifully tailored looks for brides and special occasions.
Amy also loves colouring and cutting, delivering personalised results that enhance each client’s style and confidence.
Amy is in the salon on Tuesdays and Fridays, bringing her calm, professional approach and years of expertise to her loyal clients.
Abigail - Senior Stylist

Evie - Graduate Stylist
With over 10 years of hairdressing experience, Abigail is passionate about creative cuts and colour that are a little different. She loves working with edgy styles, mullets, choppy cuts and creative colour transformations, and enjoys helping clients find a look that feels completely their own.
Abigail’s experience extends beyond the salon too. She has worked on London Fashion Week, creating hair looks behind the scenes, and in 2026 she was selected by Schwarzkopf Professional to represent the UK in their international colour testing programme, with one hair professional selected to represent each country they work with.
Always looking to push her creativity and develop her skills, Abigail loves creating hair that makes a statement.

Lottie is a talented stylist who loves creating beautiful bouncy blow dries and colour transformations, helping clients achieve a fresh new look that makes them feel amazing.
Lottie is also Nano Extension qualified, giving her the skills to create natural-looking length and volume tailored to each client.
Whether you’re looking for a gorgeous bouncy finish, a complete colour change or fuller, longer hair, Lottie loves creating a look that’s made just for you.
Evie has been part of the En Route team since she was 14 and is already making a name for herself in the industry. She was proudly finalist for Apprentice of the Year 2024 at the Salon Awards, an amazing acheivement so early in her career!
Evie is Level 2 qualified working towards her higher education of level 3, she loves putting a smile on every client’s face, especially when creating full colour and cut transformations.
Evie is especially passionate about perms, creating beautifully styled curls and waves that suit every client’s personality and lifestyle.
Lauren - Level 2 Apprentice
Mia - Level 2 Apprentice
Shannon - Salon Manager
Lauren is a Level 2 apprentice who is learning her craft and building her skills every day. She loves vibrant, vivid colours and creating beautiful hair ups.
Alongside her training, Lauren is a valued part of our salon team, supporting the stylists and learning from the experience around her.
As she continues to develop, Lauren is looking for models to help build her skills and portfolio. Keep an eye on our Instagram for model opportunities.

Mia has always wanted to become a hairdresser, and she’s now starting her journey with us as a Level 2 apprentice.
She’s at the very beginning of her career and is busy learning the ropes, building her skills and getting to know salon life. We’re excited to support Mia as she learns, grows in confidence and develops her own style as a hairdresser.

Shannon has been working in the hairdressing industry since the age of fourteen and trained with En Route, since then this career path has taken her all over the world.
Now, as En Route’s Salon Manager, Shannon is here to welcome you to En Route, look after all your appointments and ensure you have an amazing salon experience. She was proudly shortlisted for Manager of the Year at the British Hairdressing Business Awards, recognising her outstanding leadership.
Shannon is also a driving force behind our sustainability work, helping the salon achieve major awards including Sustainable Salon of the Year BHBA, Green Salon SBA, and Most Sustainable Salon.
